well I love puerto cabezas and serving the lord! presidente collado our new presidente of the mision came and trained us up and all sorts of cool stuff! he is a really cool servant of the lord and he and his family are from costa rica. and I am excited to serve under his direction!!! well got to go the power might go out again!!! just know that I know that I and each of us missionaries can be the hands of the cristo las manos del Cristo.

More from his email that I thought he wouldn't mind me sharing: "well we will see if my district leader throw eggs at me on my birthday (as is latino tradition especially in guatemala) so I will probably wear a dirty shirt that day! also well yeah we will probably celebrate it with lots of food and a bottle of sparkling grape juice that surprisingly can be found here! anyway I am going to try turtle meat for the first time tonight with danny and karla, some recent converts! so that should be interesting. I will try not to think about the poor little sea turtles..."

well it appears that I need to be a learnig this whole new language called miskitu. and so I bought a new testament in it and this grammar book I found in a library! so we shall see how this goes but really talking with the people is the fastest way to learn... just yeah just where to start is a little difficult... But I believe with all my heart that if God helped me to learn spanish, why can't He help me in the same way with miskitu!

Well I hope everyone had a good fourth of july I celebrated by making spaghetti yes an american original... but anyway the life goes on!!!

well I absolutley love all these crazy awesome super cool miskito people they are like the coolest thing ever!!! woo well yeah and I think that I may be able to learn miskito of course only with the whole gift of tongues thing going on and I need to study a lot more but I never have time!!! well this week was a little hard some investigators had some difficulties and weren't able to be baptized yet. but we have a super cool family bayardo and brinda who are really cool and developing thier testimony of the church. the gospel changes lives!!!!! but satan always tries to mess up all this with the littlest of problems that we make mountains of. yep that is how he works and it really stinks.. well, but we can only move forward! avancer avancer avancer!!! well tutni yamni!
