August 26

Well I love the wonderful moments in life involving outhouses, my comp was almost attacked by a spider last time he was hit by the curse of the gringo. It was a rather shaking experience because the spider was the size of his face... Go tropical flora and fauna! well nothing to extravagantly important too comment on this week other a cool small crocodile i got to take a picture with! among the normal coco eating etc. well the work of the lord goes on! on the soles of some worn out shoes that I am determined to get another year out of !! they need a little repair but, there is nothing a determined nicaraguan man with some tools can´t fix!

well I have learned and been witnessed to this week even more how much the Lord directs his work and directs the people that need the gospel and are willing to make the changes in their life to live it! This week a couple came to church on their own with the only contact with us being an invite in the street as they were walking together, a phone call and a pass by their house sunday morning! That night we shared a lesson with them and they accepted a baptismal date cool!

Anyway the Lord works in mysterious ways. and guides his servants, for this we always need to be ready to serve him in whatever moment.

adios!

well this week was full of just as much excitement as disappointment. Satan really tries his best to hinder the work of the Lord, but he does not succeed! yeah, there were several people we have been teaching that now are having lots of problems among other difficulties. But the gospel of Jesus Christ can and will help these people a lot!! and that is that!

I am excited about a small family we are teaching Freddy and Maira and their two kids Mylady and Yasmiro (cool names right? people get very creative with names here in nicaragua) they are progressing a little slowly but, the children already love the church and are making friends as they went to church yesterday. also their family doesn't speak miskito which is interesting, but freddy does. So, that helps a bit in explaining everything a little easier. Well yeah I really have a had a great week even a few challenges but nothing really can hinder us if God is with us. Just think about Moses, he had a sea in front of him, and God fixed that pretty good. I am sure the little problems and challenges that we call challenges with God's help can easily be overcome!

los pinche ladrones!!!! (no es palabra mala en nicaragua significa alguien que no quiere gastar dinero)

August 5

well this week has been a little crazy!!! from gang wars to baptisms on the beach it was a great week! well there are some really cool people here, this week we found a guy that we thought had lied to us and given us a wrong address but we figured out after we found him by chance one day this week while we were contacting that we misunderstood how he told us his address.. but he and his wife are cool! and they have a baptismal date and want to change their lives. among other awesome people we got to know this week!

also, we were robbed all four of us that live in our house something but that doesnt really matter other than elder taylors bike which is significantly transportationally important. but we get to be more nica and go tandem woo!!! on my bike! and meet more cool people by asking rides!! lots of friendly people with trucks! but the biggest blow was the sweetened condensed milk that I was going to use to make ice cream, pinche ladrones.... ( cheap thieves) well anyway it is ok! who needs ice cream when we have turtle meat!!! among other inner moral dilemnas I have: wow, how tasty this internationally protected, majestic 100 year old ocean creature tastes... sad face. If I don't eat it then the meat is just going to go to waste I guess.... might as well. also i got a hlj (ctr ) ring made out of turtle shell picture next week!

the lord hears our prayers!!! even the ones to ask for rides!! I know each one of us is so important to him, and the book of mormon is so cool!!!!

well the world continues to throw love around here in puerto cabezas! Power outages and daily rains loving the life y'all!!! no really it doesn't really bother me anymore just part of life! also random cinnamon rolls I have been making lately, making all the missionaries that live in our house very happy! well also the new addition of bikes has been getting us around a lot faster and all that which is nice. but a little added fears of them being robbed from us because here in puerto bicycle theft is probably the most common type of theft around. but we shall bicycle faster than the vagos! well yeah I just don't know, the Lord has been guiding us to a lot! of very prepared humbled people that really want to do what jesus wants them to do. we usually have to teach extremely simply but the faith these people have is very very humbling. hermano man marit takaia wantsma sundey y man cristian takaia wantsma sundey "hermano do you want to be married and baptized this sunday?" au "yes"
this humble people have a sincere desire to follow christ and trust us to help them live a life that is what jesus would want for them. and they just amaze me. yang miskitu takaia wantsna!!! I want to be miskitu...

pues! this past change that I have been here in puerto cabezas has been awesome!!! and Elder taylor is awesome!! and puerto cabezas is awesome!! and The lord works miracles in this people!!! and turtle meat is sadly delicious, and we finally killed one of the several large rats in our house! I love bilwi!! and the world and my mission and My birthday was supercool I made french toast with homemade apple cinnamon syrup and me and elder taylor bought ourselves a huge cake today because his birthday is today too! so he will probably get egged too! oh yeah eggs make your hair smell a little strange... but he made the mistake of wearing a clean shirt today we shall see how that goes... well love all y'all and I have seen God work in people here. I have seen men have their prayers answered while sitting with them, I have seen God help people have the desire to change, and overall touch the heart of this great people. I think I am going to go studying miskito at night which will be cool... anyway love life in everyday because you will never this exact moment to live again, make it one to remember make the difference that you can, brighten someone's day, because who knows, every needs a little bit more light in these sometimes dark days.

well as I say adios to the missionaries that are going back to the pacific side I can see how this place and people change a missionary so much, and I want to learn how to love and serve them even more!
on to a new change and new great memories being a servant of God, seeing him and this gospel change peoples lives!!!
