Kasak lukaia Laka (faith)

November 24

Faith is something very interesting, that motivates people to do many many things out of the ordinary. Like leave your home and trek out in to the wilderness to the Promised land. Get on your knees and speak to a being that we have never seen before. Follow a strict life style very unlike the majority of the world. This and many other even greater things are done as acts of faith. Many people talk of faith as something you have, but to me it is some thing you do. We do things on account of the faith that we have, and thus to me, faith=actions. If we have faith, we are going to be acting from it, and if we are acting we must have faith. It is a big deal.

Just been thinking about that lately and how I can have more faith and show it through the way I work and help other people, and the way that I love them.

Well have a great week everybody!

kati ingni

November 18

Well the heat keeps up here as the temperatures go down back home but no matter how sweaty or smelly or whatever that I am it is all ok because it is for a good reason: the work of the Lord! maybe the church bus splashed mud all over me when it hit a pothole in the road in front of the church but it doesn't matter; it was carrying like a hundred people to go to church that is pretty cool, right?!!! Outward circumstances start to take less and less importance as we come to realize what is really of eternal significance. and the supposed problems that we face everyday that worry us so much, are diminished if we can look over the anthill that we have made a mountain out of and just keep going with life and realize that in the eternal scheme of things it doesn't really matter.

try it out, think more about what matters eternally than the little problems and aggravations that pass us everyday and we will live much easier and happier. "Will this ever matter to me in fifty years? two hundred? or more?" If not, then don't worry about it now. And just do what has to be done and move on!

The gospel is the bomb! And Heavenly Father works great miracles today so much like in the past, I know and have seen it! and everyone in the world has seen the little miracles of life! another breath, another day.

DALE PUES!!!!!

¡oi vos! radar y la obra del Señor

November 11

well randomly I am going to talk about the use of the word vos in nicaragua and central america. It is the most informal version of the word "you" in spanish and extremely widely used in nicaragua. almost nobody says the word tu here and usted is normal and formal too, but here in puerto with some people with limited knowledge of spanish, if we talk to them in formal usted like missionaries should to be formal and appropriate, they sometimes don't understand us. so that is an interesting tidbit.

well this week was pretty cool a little difficult and stuff but the end of the week we found some pretty cool investigadores! Elder santiago is pretty cool but sometimes he is pretty quiet and stuff because he has a super chill personality and stuff. but that is ok. well the work is going and the members are helping us out. We helped a recent convert baptize his daughter who turned 8 this week so that was super cool. anyway but the work goes on folks. Rain or rain!

also we got to tour a radar tower station today for p-day which was cool, a member works there. and we had a big eat out together there, fun stuff. the world needs the gospel! so much! it is just the majority of the people don´t know it yet! tell them so they know!

well have a great week everyone bye!

Miskitu bila aisiras

November 4

Well hello world greetings from the humble land of Bilwi nicaragua otherwise known as puertocabezas!

The work of the lord is going forth and i hope I can just do my best! maybe I am not right now but I know I can do better. Sometimes, we think we have been giving our all and then we think of what Jesus Christ did for us and then we come to understand how much more we can do. We really do so little, in comparison with all that he did for us. And that is what motivates me try to better a little everyday! If it wasn´t ever easy for him, how we can we expect it to just be perfectly easy for us? At least that is what I think. the Lord´s work moves forward and so do I-- trying to be a little better everyday. He lift us up every step of the way and I know he is with us every step, in his path lifting us up and even carrying us at times when we can´t do it all by ourselves! Everyday another in this world just being alive I love it so dang much! I hope you do too.

upla ba nani ai latwankras bara, yang upla kum kum ai walisa.

October 28

well, this week has been a little crazy. lots of rain, lots of mud, lots of wet shoes... but it is all cool. the cloudy weather is quite pleasant and keeps the heat off us and so really I have no where to complain, just the hermana that washes our clothes has trouble drying our clothes because the sun only comes out at times. but really everything is going great learning everyday, and finding new appreciation for this life our heavenly father has given us everyday also. We don´t know how much time we have, so we should dedicate our time and put in priority that which is must important to us, or what we should learn to be that what is most important.
well, aisabi muihki nani
