tnata ba pat balan. Dia raya?

July 28

well it looks like I am on to experience a new adventure, and it almost looks more scary than my other home, nicaragua. Endings are not very pleasent, mostly because things change and loved ones faces will be very scarcely seen. I am trying to work really hard to get all my goals down to the end but sometimes,  try as we might we don´t get to lograr the potencial that we wanted but at least we can look back and see how far we have come and gone. well yeah lets just keep going on! The Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world.

well hello world! how is everything going? I believe everything has been going pretty fine with us only sometimes just the here and there struggles in the Work and what not. I just want to end my misión working really hard and what not and the time is slipping right out from under me and everyday is another day that will not be replaced in my bilwi here in nicargua. I love this place, with my heart and the people, but we need to love sometimes more for what we do. words never will be enough we always need to show the christlike love and be those that always coninue faithful no matter what. there are no excuses in salvation, and at judgment when we are judged for our acts towards the people around us in need we will say "I was in a hurry that didn't need that much help" or "well I expected someone else to go help them"? no. let us be the hands of the Lord to help those in need of the love that we can show them.

well today was a little sad as two of my best friends of the mission had changes out of puerto today, but it is all ok just I feel sometimes lonely in the zone, not many missionaries that I relate to very well. Me and elder swanson looked at the mission very very similarly and we understood the very common "puerto problems" that arise quite often but it is good to get new missionaries in, to feel and see the amazingness of this place!
well that is what it gets to I guess, It it would be amazing to stay here another change but if I extend it would impede another misionero a venir here. But we shall see how the last and best change of my mission goes for me!

p.s. Elder Arevalo had changes to go to Mateare he was so sad when he heard he was leaving puerto, he can speak and understand miskitu very well too, but when he heard to mateare he brightened up so I will get to see him when I pass by there when I finish my mission how awesome!!!!!

June 16
well, everything has been going very well lately. things are really great; Elder Perry is trying really hard on his miskitu and stuff. And now can help participate more en lecciones and what not so that is great! there were times before when I had been feeling that I needed to stay and extend my mission but then, I realized me extending would have kept someone from coming to puerto to experience this greatness here so I figured out what to do.

Also, I have been thinking a lot lately on how we treat the people we are around, sometimes people get angry very quickly for very little things but we should never let that get us angry too, don´t drop to their level, be the better person, even if it may cost us our pride or to win an argument. but, the real important thing is we learn to become better people.

well the world is a beautiful place let us all love it! this week I have seen a lot of the importance of facing trials with faith. Going forward without a clear exit and trusting that God will help us get where we want to go even when we are not really sure how to get there. Everyone of us has problems in our lives but with our Savior everything is possible!

well the work in the fishing of men is the best work ever, when the Lord called his twelve apostles to be fishers of men it was completely correct title of those called to do the Lord`s work to look and search for the souls in need and the souls in search for the truth. The book of mormon is the truth and is the bomb our investigador, Josè bore his testimony of it in church. I love the gospel and I love miskitu people!

kupia lamni laka

May 26

well, today and this week I want to talk a lot about how meekness and humility are such important traits to develop in our lives and all that jazz. well jesus said blessed are the meek and the same to the poor in heart. humility brings us to be more teachable and accept counsel and help from outside sources as we leave behind our pride and try to search for ways to find more true happiness in our lives. pride is such an opposite to the gospel of Jesus Christ, but unfortunately there are many a claimed Christian that are found among those that have pride in their hearts. well, all of us do. That is why we must be more like Jesus and submit ourselves to the voluntad of the Father and he will show us the way to true happiness. Courage and pride are different things, it takes true courage to be humble like Jesus Christ and follow his commandments no matter what, the only thing that pride helps us do is be blind to the hole that we are digging for ourselves. Let us all be a little more humble today.

May 19

well, pues, things are going pretty fabulasticlicious, you know what I mean. The world is so beautiful, and I love so much the humble of heart of this world they are the most amazing people and just make you want to hug everybody! happen what happens this will all turn out good the work of the Lord is turning out so fast everywhere in the world and his work is going forth faster and faster! I am so excited to be able to do the work in this time of the world!

Pretty much why can't we all be nicer people and more humble, less quick to be angry and more quick to look for a way to help. we need to lift up those in need around us, if we do not do it, who will?!!!! It is too easy to say someone else will, but no one else ever will when we could be doing just that to help someone who might need it most from us! let us help those in need around us.

well this is pretty unreal: Elder swanson se fue... sad face. A lot of people will miss him in puerto; he was here for fifteen months of his mission and did some really great things and holds the worlds longest tie in puerto as a missionary title woot woot!!! which is pretty cool but elder perry could possibly beat him he wants to learn miskitu and I really like the elder; he is just very new and there is so much to learn!! ah!!! well we shall see how things go! I really like this and stuff but I am going to need to teach him a bunch of stuff. Lerry and ernestinas baptism was super spiritual they are like super awesome and like super repented of their sins and want to do what is right and all that amazing jazz well that is pretty much the coolest thing ever!!! yeah! I heart life! and Elder Swanson left a pretty boss legacy here in puerto let us keep the good work up!!

well this week has been rather warm and rather tiring but all in the work of the Lord and asi vamos pues! well we have had a few dificultades since some investigadores went back to the community. that happens a lot here and is never fun because the church doesn't exist in any of the communities yet and they will not be opened up until there is a stake here. so we have lots of work to do and all that jazz since well that is what we do yeah missionary stuff!! well anyway this week from meetings with president to more church bus issues but we made it out on top al fin and well even when everything is turning out the opposite of what you expected, just keep calm and trust in the Lord and something amazing will happen! Prayer changes things, and can help church buses function normally!

well pretty much this week I have learned the truthfulness of one thing so much! that trials make us stronger! that is so great. The Lord looks for people that are humble enough to learn from their problems instead of let their problems govern them! Everybody just be awesome and this wonderful thing called life will just be the best. sometimes there are really horrible bad things that happen to people and us in our lives but we can overcome these and leave out as better people with stronger faith in our savior JesusChrist. That was my favorite part of conference last week, elder bednar´s talk about how trials help us grow so much!

March 31

There are many amazing things in this life and stuff but one of the best is to see people´s lives change; that is one of the most awesomest things I have seen in my mission. And as you see people progress it is just so great!!! and these changes as you see them, makes them so happy in their lives and stuff. Makes you so equally happy and stuff so pretty much I would do anything to help other people to feel this same happiness in their lives; that is what it is all about! The Lord did it all for us and gave everything for all of us; I think we can give a little bit of ourselves to help others. Care a little bit more for the one that needs it more. have a great week everyone!

March 24

PUES, hey everybody I am doing great!!!!!!!! The world is such a great place! I just got done eating the greatest Miskito dish there is called Rundung and is an awesome fish coconut soup with vegetables and amazingness!! so I think I can make it too but I will need to practice a bit to get it down pretty good! Anyway this week I have seen the hand of the lord in many manners: in our work and in the people we teach. one of the things I am so sure of is that I know God answers our prayers. I have seen it so many times on my mission, personally and in the lives of other people. This week especially I know that God listens and answers us. and if we listen and if we have true faith these answers can come very quickly. We can thank him  for all that he does for us by living his gospel and obeying his commandments. Pray and the Lord will be there. There is something very strong about a person on their knees bowed in prayer. There are very few things that can stop a person from success if they do that every day.

MIRAKAL NANI BA ALKAIA SIP SA!

March 17

well this was a great week of miracles here in Puerto Cabezas, there was lots of missionary success and lots of investigators brought to church so it was really a great week and also I learned a lot from the zone conference but also a lot in the Book of Mormon this week! Namely, Moroni chapter 7 (usually remembered for the charity parts), but I would like to talk about how today just like in ancient times miracles can happen. Sometimes we misunderstand the meaning of a "miracle" when we think of examples in the scriptures like Moses parting the Red Sea and likewise. BUT, it is important to consider the little miracles in life and the products of the faith of the faithful. Miracles follow those that truly believe, so if there seems to have ceased miracles in these times then we need to repent because we have ceased to believe. Have faith everybody and do something about it!

Many people have said that they have faith in the Lord but how many of the many that say that are willing to do great things help others, or change their hearts to better live the gospel of Jesus Christ? Pretty much my dream since I came to the mision was to learn miskitu (this crazy language out in Puerto Cabezas) well seems as though that has come to pass! funny how things work out and how also, If anyone wants to learn miskitu too we can all learn in wikibooks!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miskito_grammar isnt that exciting! go learn the miskitu!!!!!!!!! just kidding but you could understand a little bit more about how it is...

well, the gospel is true! and the church is too! isnt that great and everything? also, the church is guided by leaders who recieve revalation de Dios . Which is also great! I love the gospel. and I know this work is true and I will learn this language!!!!

well to my uttermost joy I have been given the opportunity to really learn miskitu as I have been called to be a miskitu misionero!!! wow that is super cool! also, well it is a big deal and I am really humbled by this new responsibility. I can't wait to tell you all what grand things the Lord has in store as I continue on in this amazing adventure of serving the Lord. and most of all establishing the true Church en Nicaragua especially puerto cabezas! this is a special people and God has many blessings prepared for them and everyone that choses to follow him!!

also, I would like to talk a little bit about the importance of the family and the plan of salvation. It is one of the most consoling parts of the true gospel: the security that we are going to be able to be with our families again. In the life to come and that we will see them again. The majority of the people in the world believe in a life after this life but not everyone has the security and a knowing. that there is something prepared for us after this life but we know because we have this faith in our Savior and his teachings. Let us share this with others so that they may receive this peace in their hearts also.

February 10

Well things are going great. Sometimes better, sometimes not so well, but it really depends on your attitude. almost always we most easily notice the negative of a situation or person very quickly. But, we are very slow to notice our own weaknesses. It is so important that we try to see the best in everyone and try to better ourselves. Also, many times we envy others for the good things that happen in their lives, while we should be happy for them. For example, in the case of farming sometimes someone needs the sun while in other occasions someone may be praying for the rain, shouldn´t we be happy that what may happen--sun or rain--God is answering someone´s prayer?

Let us be happy for others, see the blessing of everyday and everything. Maybe it might not be for our favor, but for at least one of God´s many children out there he is blessing in some manner. So let us not be so down about the rain that might of fell on our parade, when that rain may have put the fire out on someone´s house. It is a strange example but,\ to me it is true. Be happy for the victories of those around you and know that blessings aren´t far out of sight for you.

Crazy how fast time passes! within a couple weeks I will have eight months here in puerto, one of the greatest places on earth. I love it so much! and this awesome people! the work is going pretty great especially in the miskitu meeting. there were like eight confirmaciones last night ... so that is really good! I love trying to find the little amazing blessings that the lord grants unto us everyday. The oportunidad to brighten someone's day, the beautiful sky and surroundings, modern medicine even in third world countries. a member had appendicitis last week and as soon as she got to the hospital to get some treatment for her stomach pains they sent her to the operating room and got her appendix out and yep go modern medicine! even if here they send you home a little soon after your surgery... but at least there are good doctors to treat the people and stuff. oh ok back to the list of good things umm... really good ice cream in isolated port towns on the caribbean coast of nicaragua. dairy products.... among other amazing blessings from the Lord on a more serious side the sacrifice that Jesus did for us. And the blessing of repentance and forgiveness. true forgiveness that leaves sins red as crimson, white as snow.
Enjoy the love the Savior has for you and spread to those who don´t feel it.

January 27

Well it is always really important to do the right and to do the best you can. this week I think I have not been doing the best of my part but this coming week is going to be awesome!

well, small things make the difference and humility makes us stronger. humility is one of the qualities most important to help us be able to learn. To see our mistakes clearly without the filter of our pride erasing our errors. as we apply humility it will take us places muy (very) far away. Places called perfection, something that is impossible in this life. but, as we are humble enough to notice and correct our mistakes we will get very close.

the native people of the american continent and pacific islands teach me a lot about humility. and the willingness to change. They are a beautiful people and I would wish to serve them all my life. Not sure how but some way it will all work out. We can all be a little bit more humble and strive to be more willing to change and recognize our mistakes.

But with my handy dandy new camera everything is super cool! investigadores we need to find more! and work more with the members and stuff but everything will be ok if we work super hard!!! this week my goal is to work so hard I fall asleep in our planning session! that happens a lot.... but I love people. especially latino people and even more native cultures of central and south america!! they are the bomb! As we serve our fellow beings we only serve our GOD! (Mosiah 2:17) so serve some people YALL! or just smile more that is super important too! I think I am going to get more pilas in my miskitu and stuff! possibly.. that sounds like a good idea! December 30

As we all pass this amazing time of a new year and stuff and remembering always Jesus Christ and his awesome life! It is always very important to look forward and think what changes I or we could make in our life so that this year could be absoluelty awesome!!! or how to be a better person and stuff. that really is a little bit more important! we can you do to be better? whose life could you possibly touch with a random act of kindness today, tomorrow, and everyday.

the world is so full of people, with lives, loves and problems with this new year strive to reach out to one everyday, in a manner csimple but sincere. As we strive to love and help others we are serving God. "when you are in the service of your fellow beings you are only in the service of your God" mosiah 2: 17

we can do much good if only we put our part we van be the hands of the Lord helping someone in need. As I have loved you, love one another, said Christ
